GIFT OF PATIENCE
January 30, 202610:20 AMASAMEINY
We are called as Christians to be calm, act wisely and above all, perseverance in certain situations. A calm mind can think better, strategize better and achieve the best results. 1Corinthians 13:4 says Love is patient. Love is the greatest of all God’s gifts. Therefore in order to get God’s love, we have to be patient. When there is love, every good thing follows. In our communities, family and friends we must be patient with those who are not yet on same level as us. God knows why the difference, be patient and understand why God decided to bring them closer to you. A man who is the head of the family must raise the family with love towards his wife and children and God will bless them abundantly. Raising a family is not easy but with perseverance, endurance and love, God directs our path and it feels very easy. Our prayer is for God to direct us through every path of endurance and patience and lift the burden we bear so that we can find love in patience.

CALLING GOD IN TIMES OF CRISIS
January 30, 202610:18 AMASAMEINY
Our challenges are never ending, we constantly look for ways to overcome them, but they sometimes feel unending, the world is a busy place and there is a lot of chaos around us, we feel overwhelmed by the constant changes. Our challenges seem to drown us and push us to the limit, crisis is a time when God can listen to you better. In moments when you feel oppressed, depressed, abused, down, disappointed, feeling like the world is closing on you, angry, etc, remember that you were not the first human on earth and so many have gone through same, some are still going through same thing and others might be going through worse, take a moment, breathe, relax and pray with all the conviction that your prayers are heard and will be answered, pray with all faith and the last hope you have, answers might come immediately or not immediately but be assured that you will have an answer, wait for God’s answer, His timing is perfect, trust and believe, do not give up, pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Answers might come in very unusual ways but it surely will come. Times of crisis are to strengthen our Faith, draw us closer to God and take us to greater heights. The dark may last all night, but light will surely come in the morning, do not give up or be shaken Psalm 16:8, be patient and wait for God’s time, it is the best!

THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE
January 30, 202610:14 AMASAMEINY
Love is a command from God, John 15:12. it is not optional to choose to hate or love. The people you meet everyday are people who were set to meet you at a certain point in life or for a period. It is not by chance that you meet these people. The most important questions we need to ask ourselves is why are we meeting this person? What is their role in our life? How can we get all the advantages from meeting this person? Not everyone is very receptive at first sight, so what must we do to bring out that receptive side of this person. It is mostly through love, simple acts of kindness. Some people have a materialistic side, others have a conversational receptive side, some might need time to trust you in order to be receptive, etc. The tools to understanding is with you, you just need to ask for guidance on how to use them properly. Love is one of the greatest gifts of all, 1 Corinthians 13:13. Love one another and you will receive more in return, it always comes back, it is never lost, it might not come back directly but might indirectly so do not be bothered, God sees your heart.

THE REJECTED BECOMES ESSENTIAL
January 30, 202610:08 AMASAMEINY
Jesus is the cornerstone to your spiritual foundation, without Him everything you build is in vain. Isaiah 28:16 says I the Sovereign Lord is laying a tested foundation stone in Zion, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation, no one who exercises faith will panic. Sometimes we are rejected by our family, friends and even the most trusted of people, there is no need to feel alone because you are not actually alone, God is always by you, guiding you all the way, rejection might be a good time for reflection and removal from too much noise so that you can hear God’s voice clearly and rise up to the level which makes you to glorify Him. Through this silent reflection and growth, you will not chase those who rejected you, they will chase after you and find their way back, Psalm 118:22 the stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. Success can be very loud, and success built on Jesus Christ is joyful and permanent.
CHOOSING THE PATH OF FORGIVENESS
January 30, 202610:05 AMASAMEINY
Letting go of the past, is not a sign of weakness but absolute strength. Forgive as many times as the Lord says you should forgive others. You do not really need to free your heart so that you do not carry the burden of others. Some people can cause others pain knowingly or unknowingly through any means and at first sight, it seems they are winning, it only appears to be so because the pain in your heart is too heavy and is weighing on you, preventing you from rising and winning, your Spirit is very low and non-productive, the Spirit of God cannot dwell in your heart. Believe in your heart that everything happens for a reason, nothing is by chance, God knows and sees it all. Turn to God through prayers, free yourself and heart by forgiving so that you can continue on the right path. Sometimes the pain is a way to drift and distract you from achieving your goal, do not give in to the heart but fight it through prayers, meditation and fasting. When you forgive, your sins will also be forgiven, you will enjoy freedom and start winning more than the person whom you thought was winning as in LK 6:37 , do not judge and you will not be judged, forgive others and you will be forgiven. Prayers: Help me Lord Jesus Christ so that I am able to forgive others as You have forgiven me. Make me a channel of forgiveness where there is unforgiveness.

TEACH ME TO GROW
January 29, 202611:30 AMASAMEINY
Today, our devotion emphasises on how God can make us to grow, when we learn the ways of God, we can grow in the Faith, when we obey the teachings of God we can grow in Faith, when we make time for God everyday, we can grow our Faith in Him. Every stage that brings us to the inner core of God or brings us closer to God is worth sitting at His table, in His banquet house, Songs of Solomon 2:4. Jesus Christ as a little boy taught in the Temple, He preached to people who were older than even His parents, Samuel was presented to Eli in the Temple as a child to follow the teachings of God and He became great. Though your Faith might be as a mustard seed, you are able to grow it, do not be discouraged, do not give up. What ever your situation is, take it to God and find a quiet moment to talk to Him, it cannot be bigger than God. May God bless His word in our hearts. Our prayer for today is for God to make us grow and teach us to follow His Word. May His Spirit continue to guide and lead us through our walk with Him. Today’s reflections: What do you need direction with in your life? How can you grow with God? What teachings can give you accurate knowledge to walk worthily of God?
GOD’S GIFT OF GRACE
January 29, 202611:20 AMASAMEINY
Our devotion for today emphasises on finding the Grace of God, locating God’s gift of grace in our lives. We need to first of all identify our need then with our mouth confess it with confidence to the Lord and communicating through prayers, fasting, meditation and more while waiting for His response. Romans 6:14 says for sin must not be your master and see that you are not under Law but under God’s Grace. God’s grace will take you away from sin and you will follow the right path, Galatians 2:21 says I refuse to reject the Grace of God but if a person is put right with God through the Law, it means Christ died for nothing. God’s Grace is sufficient Galatians 2:20 says, I am crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who lives but it is Christ who live in me. Our life is dependant on our faith In Jesus Christ. May God bless His word in our hearts. Our prayer for today is for God to give us the Grace to identify and to overcome every challenge in our lives with success. Our reflection is for today: What is our challenge? What can we do to ask for God’s abundant Grace? How can we continue to share our Grace with others?
PRAYING FOR GOOD THOUGHTS
January 29, 202611:10 AMASAMEINY
Our devotion today emphasizes on the relationship between our thoughts and God. God dwells in our heart and our heart is the temple of God. When our thoughts are crowded with unpleasant thoughts, our Hearts cannot be receptive to the Spirit of God. Sometimes we are not able to sleep, to eat, to learn or behave appropriately because someone has caused us unbearable pain. Our heart is troubled, and our minds are racing with all sorts of unpleasant thoughts to combat that feeling, we think of ways to take our revenge about the situation, find ways of inflicting even greater pain, we devise various means to dampen the pain like losing valuable time drinking our sorrows away, thinking the pain will disappear but it only comes back double, we become sick just because we thirst for revenge. We think of many drastic decisions and forget the most important. Take a moment sit and pray, meditate on God’s word, His Love for you, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God sacrificed His life for us and still forgave everyone who did this, so does our Father in Heaven expect us to forgive those who wrong us. The burden of unforgiveness is greater on the person who refuses to forgive than the one who caused the pain, God who sees everything will judge accordingly. The process to forgiveness is not usually easy, it maybe long and painful going through all the stages of grief and even loss but even with baby steps, we will get to the finish point, do not give up. Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on Him and He will give you rest, never will He allow the righteous one to fall. He will free you when you free yourself by choosing to forgive, you will find total freedom when you unimprison yourself from all the hurt. When your heart is free, then God’s spirit can come to dwell in it, walk and direct you to find lasting peace and happiness. In this walk with God, the thoughts in your mind will align with your heart and the light of God upon you will shine brighter. In 2 Corinthians 10:5-6 says we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ. And after you have proved your complete loyalty, we will be ready to punish any act of disloyalty. Philippians 4:8 therefore says “In conclusion, my friends, fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honourable”. “And above all things that you guard, guard your heart for everything you do flows from it, your life is shaped by your thoughts”. Proverbs 4:23. May God Bless his word in our hearts. Our Prayer for today is for God to help us to guard our hearts and align it with our thoughts, and to also teach us to forgive others as He has forgiven us. Our reflections for today: How do we free our minds from unpleasant thoughts? What do we do to reconcile our minds and hearts? What can we do for our God to reside and walk with us forever?
FINDING GRACE
January 28, 202612:15 PMASAMEINY TEAM
Grace is the foundation of our faith. It is God’s unmerited favor, His love extended to us without condition or expectation of return. In a world that constantly judges and measures our worth, grace offers freedom. Grace says we are enough, not because of our achievements, but because we are God’s beloved. When we understand grace, we understand that our past does not define our future. Our mistakes do not disqualify us from God’s love. Finding grace means letting go of shame and embracing forgiveness—both from God and from ourselves. As you go through your day, carry this truth: you are worthy of grace, and you are called to extend that same grace to others. In doing so, you become a vessel of God’s love in this world.
PEACE IN THE STORM
January 28, 202612:13 PMASAMEINY TEAM
Life is full of storms—moments of uncertainty, fear, and turmoil. But Jesus teaches us that peace is possible even in the midst of chaos. In Matthew 8:26, Jesus calms the storm and asks His disciples, ‘Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?’ This passage reminds us that our faith is our shield against fear. Peace in the storm is not the absence of difficulties, but the presence of God’s assurance. When we trust in God’s sovereignty, we can find calm in the chaos. We can rest knowing that He is in control. Today, if you are facing a storm, remember that peace is available to you. Seek God’s presence, hold onto your faith, and let His peace guard your heart and mind.
RENEWED STRENGTH
January 28, 202612:10 PMASAMEINY TEAM
Strength is not always about physical power. True strength comes from faith, resilience, and the courage to face our challenges. When we feel weak and exhausted, God promises to renew our strength. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us: ‘But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.’ This renewal happens when we surrender our burdens to God and trust in His plan. Every morning brings a new opportunity to draw strength from our faith. Whether you face obstacles at work, in relationships, or within yourself, remember that you are never alone. God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness. Today, let your faith be your anchor and your source of renewed strength.

FINDING GRACE
January 28, 202612:07 PMASAMEINY TEAM
Grace is not something we earn or deserve. It is a gift freely given by God to all who believe. In our daily struggles, we often forget that we are covered by God’s grace. When we stumble and fall, grace lifts us up. When we feel unworthy, grace reminds us of our value in God’s eyes. Finding grace means accepting that we are loved unconditionally, not because of what we do, but because of who we are in Christ. Today, take a moment to reflect on the grace that surrounds you. Let it transform your heart and guide your actions. Share this grace with others, for in giving, we receive even more.
